Technical What is it?

See those keyholes in the mirror? They are an electrical connection. That bejeweled device on the r side is a cigarette lighter. Where did it come from? Cigarette holder and lighter? I've never seen anything like it, although I'm into the 40's this looks like early 40's or 30's.

 

That is a vanity case, they were in the back of sedans and lemos in the late 1920's-1930's.Bob

 

It has a similar floral design like the interior handles on my 1931 Dodges...

I picked it a flea market last summer for .50, guy likes it it's his. That cigarette lighter 'jeweled' top is real gl***, wood is walnut, handsome little piece.

 

Here is where they usually mount....on the rear door.
