i got a question i thought maybe a few people on here may have the answer to...i sold my rather wild studebaker pickup to a gentleman in alberta canada and he is unfamiliar with the laws and rules of registering a hot rod there. the truck has a ny registration as a 1947 studebaker m5 pickup(even though it is heavily modified) the truck has a vin tag mounted on the firewall matching the registration..currently the truck has no side gl***, horn or turn signals i imagine these would need to be added does anyone know where he could find this info or how to go about this?? any info would be much appriciated i will add a pic so you know what im talking about thanks....also does the insurance differ from the states?

In Alberta an inspection certificate must be signed by a journeyman mechanic and in this case it's called an out of province inspection. Some will be **** about little things and others will walk around the car once and call it done. When he takes it for this inspection the mechanic will point out the shortcomings (in his opinion which will vary) and once p***ed no re- inspection is required unless insurance lapses. Lot's of plywood fenders and vehicles with duct tape holding them together around here.
