Slant 6, Leaning Tower of Power!

I like the Big Block Mopar with Long Ram intakes! Pretty wild looking!

    Although I am using a 241 Hemi....

    AHotRod,

:D This will not be politically correct in today's I've got to be different hot rod world. I came up with the small block Chevy and I still think its the greatest engine ever made. The small block Chevy is the most versatile engine ever made, the small block dresses up very well, there's endless parts available and they go like hell. Hate them if you like but they won't go away. "SBC" FOREVER"

For some strange reason, i have always loved the look of 348's and 409's Tony said "since i was a little kid. There's something about the scalloped valve covers on em..I just think there cool looking."

being sorta new to hot rods they sure struck me the same way

Ok I dont have a picture but its to bitchin' not to mention in this thread... a few years ago at the charlotte good guys show I saw a ol t-bucket powered buy a carbureted ...are you ready?... Lamborgini V-12, not sure the vintage of the engine and never could find out who owned it but man what a wild lookin set up... and the headers... OMG.... craaaaazy.

  19. That would be Fran Olsen, originally from Massachusetts. In the 70's he had a t-bucket with a Hilborn injected Chrysler Hemi that he ran on the street. Actually, he drove it to the Nationals in Memphis in '71.

  21. Always wondered why they call it a "W" motor when in reality the valve covers look like an "M"

I gonna have this one in my T-Bucket. Its a german-produced, factory-new (made in 1963, said the packaging list in the wooden box, when I opened it) Ford Flathead G29T Motor with an Almqwist intake manifold and two 32NDIX Zenith Carburetors. These motors were produced on for the german army till ?????
Although my T´s a Tupperware rod (because in Germany steel bodys are pretty hard to find), this engine satisfies my oldschool needs again......(sorry for my bad English)

Here the engine was in the buildup process:

The question for the heads lead me after long sleepless nights (Sharp, Offenhauser,Sharp,Offenhauser?) to mild milled stock heads, because they belonged to the motor-package.
