Technical WHAT IS THE FASTEST COLOR

Well this is the fastest car there is. kind of a dusty black. And we know the Blackbird is the fastest air plane.

I'm thinking as far as colors go the slicker it is the better chance it will go faster works at Bonneville. I used to buy Meguires completion Wax back in the late 60's and early 70's It was alleged to have helped some cars go a couple of miles an hour faster with just a wax job. I know it would slick up my new then 69 Cutlass to the point if some clown decided to sit on the fender his ass slid off on the ground. Had that happen then one of my buddies asked the guy why the hell he had sat on it in the first place. I don't think it made it any faster at Little River on Sundays though.

I always thought it was "Arrest Me Red"!!!!

 

I don't know what the fastest color is, but I knew of a drag boat guy who painted his boat one solid color and told everyone it was to save weight since all those extra gallons for fancy paint would weigh the boat down. I did not know him well enough to ask if he was stupid or just joking

 

Totally true! That is why all of the early John Force cars were predominantly white. Because white is the lightest color, weight wise...and Austin Coil knew it !

I think tighty whitey white is the fastest colour. Just saying this from all the skid marks down the straights.
