does it have parallel springs front and back? it looks like the spring mounts at the end of the frame correct?

only have the back half section.i thought ford because i found a step that says ford on it from an old pickup i guess.both bumper springs are parallel. i was wondering what the lever was for with the damper on it on the drivers side rail.the whole thing is still solid.it's just been laying on the ground out front forever.

no not the bumper, on the very end of the frame, it looks like it had some bolts that are cut off. i think those are where the leaf spring connected. i can tell you right now its not ford. ford had transverse leafs(parallel with the axle) and that has leafs that go with the frame. also that doesnt look like a ford gas tank or shock. (that part with the arm and damper, is a shock)

My guess from what little I can see (bumpers, shock and gas tank cover)would be 1929-1930 Chevrolet.

The bumpers have ridges on them, not Ford, the gas tank and shocks are certainly not Ford.
