Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by RoadFarmer, Oct 30, 2010.

  1. I have no idea what year or make this is....anyone else know??? Besides the bullet holes and some dents it's really solid.... Im not metal man, but I wanna try to get this thing for at least some really cool yard art. But maybe it's worth more to someone else?

The old Dodges (Dodge'?) had a patent plate down where the seat cushion sat that would often tell the vintage of the body. Yeap I know it all!

82 Lincoln, but I might be wrong.

  12. I'd hate to have to find a deck lid for the old girl.

  13. Looks like it's in the trunk upside down (under the fender)?

Admit it. You sat in it and made noises like you were rowing through the gears didn't you?

  15. Pretty cool looking body. You wouldn't see one of those at every event.

So make a truck cab out of it since you can't make a deck lid for it.

If you buy it and decide to flip it, make sure you mention the patina.

Yes, it is an old Dodge, but why would someone take it out into the middle of nowere and leave it there?

I'd call that a saver! There is a pretty large following of early Dodge people out there, so finding a deck lid wouldn't be too much of a problem. It'd be a shame to see that used as yard art.

Living in SoCal, it simply blows my mind that you're driving down a dirt road and come accross this body that's been sitting there for what, 50 years?-and nobody has hauled it off!!! You' d have to go back 30+ years to have seen a 20's coupe just sitting around here waiting to be loaded up.

I think it looks buildable. You'd need a door and the roof would rquire a lot of bump work, but I think it would make a cool hiboy coupe. I like it and I think it deserves to be saved!
