A buddy got this truck, to me the cab and cowl don't match but I could be wrong. Can someone 20240805_163835.jpg 20240805_163753.jpg tell me what it is?

Thank you, I didn't think to look for wood. Some more pics, the ford is coming out and a chevrolet will be going in. It was sold as a ford model a but when i saw it i knew it wasn't a ford. 20240805_165402.jpg 20240805_165350.jpg 20240805_165310.jpg

The bed and stake pockets look close to my ‘32 Dodge PU.
Can’t get pics until tomorrow though.

Nothing says chevy like that massive recess the middle of the firewall. Another vote for stock chevy of late 20’s vintage

Someone went to some work to help that Chevy become respectable and now you’re going to undo that work? Shame.....

The bed is '33-'35 Dodge and possibly '32 but I'm not familiar with '32's.

You could be correct. The bed seems to be a ring-in of some sort.

Running boards and apron look to be factory made the roof not so much. Sedan made in a truck that would explain the dodge box.
