Well scored - I paid $1200 for just a '29 (badly chanelled) coupe body in that kind of condition, minus decklid - in 1997. You got me beat hands down
glad to see you got it home, a couple club members stopped at that guys place a few years back, said he always has cars for sale
Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a mind-blowingly good deal. I can't believe there were people saying pass at $1800. This looks like it was a really well built car in it's day, someone took the time to do a lot of work to it. This was not an abandoned mockup or anything like that. Look at those headlight stands! The dash and seats are great too. I bet that is a real Deuce grille shell, looks like it's cut down some. Plus all the extra parts, I'd have been pissing my pants over this one for that kind of money.
looks like a good deal to me. those greenline Stewart Warners are worth a bit of money. I'm pretty sure those came out in the late 60's
i might almost say those could be mustang seats but Im not sure. I think its even better than before now and I agree, if that was near me for $1800 my wife would be mad because christmas will come around next year Im spending the money now for that. haha I bet the best part right now is checking out the past work and some of the cool pieces someone put together to get it on the road. Lots of good parts there. Im jealous man. My A will come someday. Hopefully I get a deal like you.
