When I put an ad in the paper, I generally put in the ad just what it is I'm selling, so when people call me they can ask "hey is that (whatever) still for sale?" So chances are the text below the photo tells you exactly what is in the photo. Now.. a couple hundred bucks? I know scrap is down, but there has to be three tons there, it will bring more than that at the crusher, come on. Those old frames and rearends weren't made of tinfoil. Between not being able to figure out what it is and what you want to pay for it... part of me wants to be like, "did your parents have any children that lived?" sheesh.
Hahaha. Funny stuff. So I got a call back from the guy a couple hours ago, I was at my buddies... He doesn't know anything about it himself. When I asked what year it was he didn't know, guessed late 30s, haha . I asked him to give me a ballpark figure on what he was looking for in return, so he says, "Well, i don't know... A couple thousand bucks?" So, I definitely won't be bringing her home.. I told the guy I'd talk it over with my parents and give him a call back. He said I'm welcome to come take a look at it, but when I asked for his address all I heard was mumbling (he seemed to be getting upset when I would say "sorry, i didn't quite get you there"), so I just said "Okay, thanks. Bye." and he hung up. Bummer. Thanks for the help anyways everyone, and the comedians too
Come on, you know you want too... All I can tell you is this one is done in USAF theme so at least 47 or newer.
