This was my '34 had a '75 Monza 265 cu 170 hp with a Schlitz 15 gal keg fuel tank on the bed. Fun! Liked to watch the world go past in the reflection of the headlight s and the air cleaner was an enamel bed pan with 6 in element inside.

And the view from the F100 driver's seat is shaping up the the same:

Now there is something I’ve never seen before. What does the rest of the car look like?

no, it has been sitting on the lift for at least 10 years. My friend and I have bought and sold the car to each other probably 5 times in the last 30 years. I am not sure who actually owns it now. It is a waste of a lot of good work .

I came out of school (college) one day and a cop was giving me a ticket for an illegal fuel tank on my 55 IH stake body. We put a pop top filler cap in the bung from a TR6 I think, of a Firestone, double wall, stainless steel tank. When the cop called it a beer keg, I pointed out the Firestone, and double walled stainless, and told him it was a custom fuel tank made for hot rods. He bought it and let me go.

The fact that it was my dad's dream car. He worked on it for 4 decades but was never ever able to finish it. My brother and I took it out of storage and finished it for him. He was able to enjoy it for 14 years before we lost him. Some of his ashes are in the car so he is still enjoying the ride.

I'm currently partial to this view of my 5w project. Chrome rear and 4 polished SS pipes...

I like to go somewhere and do something. Years ago, we used to have “rod runs”. Getting there was half the fun.

For me and my rigs, I think its the back stories of them. And I enjoy the back stories of other peoples rigs as well. Its all about the personality of the rod for me.
