I just wanted to know what everyone's desktop backround is and what it means to you. Here is mine below. Everytime I look at this photo and it reminds me of how fun hotrodding is. What could be better!

This is me, my wife and our 6 year old grand daughter, riding in a genuine 1950's USA hotrod, taken on our trip to California in June this year...

It might no look like we're riding in a hotrod, but it certainly is, it's the original Disneyland fire engine, built in 1956 and driven by Walt himself, and there's a transverse leaf spring front end with split bones and what looks like a dropped axle underneath it, so what else could it be?

    Cheers, Glen.

Mine changes whenever I come across something that jumps out at me. Currently its a brook trout jumping out of a spring creek hooked on a fly line.

Here's mine. It reminds me of how much fun my wife and daughter had this summer driving almost 900 miles to Nationals, while everyone else in our local club had their's on trailers.

  11. It really depends on which desktop I'm using at the time, my mac has the ability to switch desktops. I have on that is a 35 Ford tailgate, one thats a 36 ford Custom Deluxe front, and one that is a painting of a girl.

I change mine quite a bit but it's always auto related. At the moment it's this.

On one I have a heavy wrecker my dad use to drive.

On the other one I have fenderless 31 roadster Channelled and a hopped up Flathead.

On my iPhone it is a picture of my daughter sleeping In a body saying: I love Dad.
My wife sent it to my when I was away on work, I worked 4 days a week away from home. So everything my wife sent to my when away is Golden!

Currently it's this shot of my 6 year old granddaughter in my Deuce Fordor. She got in and put on my hat and said "look papaw" and my wife; always ready with the camera, captured it. This child melts my heart like finding a cherry '32 Ford tucked away in an old barn, and I've experienced both!

  24. I think you just might have topped Doug there. I don't often use the word "cute", but that's cuter than a freaking beagle eating a cupcake! :D You've got an 8x10 of that shot framed on your mantel too, don't you?

Lifted this from Vintage Shots From Days Gone By. Mid-thirties American iron just does it for me.
