Mine is the 30s but from 25 when cars started getting some style and lines to 40-41, before they got bulky. The 50s cars are nice too with their super stylish lines. JW.
54 to 64, mostly Fords. Model A builds of that era as well. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
teens to 1920 (big obnoxious cars with wooden wheels and huge displacement engines, + motorcycles) 1950's & some early 1960's (racey sporty cars, exotics, and hotrods of the era)
Seems like I keep returning to cars that have a late 50s to mid 60s flavour to them. That doesn´t mean I only like cars that were built in that area. That could be any car up to about 65/66... there´s not much I had to have that was built after 1965.One time I ´d like to build the essence of my favourites, an early 60s Buick inspired drag/ show roadster with a blown 425 nailhead, hilborn FI, spindle mounts, mags, cheater slicks, panel paint job, white tuck ´n´roll interior and lots of chrome.Oh yeah....keep dreaming
The 60's for me, the cars, the innovations, it was an exciting time for a kid growing up in Australia. Reading as many rodding magazines I could my hands on. Never ever in my wildest dreams did think that I would have the privilige of working on and owning American history.
Decade would be '55-64. Single year would be 1957. There were no ugly cars built that year. I have two '57 Mopars so I'm biased.
I used to be a 64-72 guy but Now I'm just loving everything from the mid-late fifties, especially 57. Fins are always in!
I love a lot of the '30s cars & trucks, esp. '33 - '34 Ford 3-window coupes chopped & fenderless... also late '30s coupes... But my favorite decade had to be about '55 - '65. I agree that everything's been gradually going to hell since then... Best music was roughly '56 - '62. Plenty of junkyards loaded with good, useable parts too! '50s to early '60s was a golden era.
Ive always been big on the twenties, and own two txenties cars. My most modern car is a 34 Chev, so im stepin up I also like nearly all 50s cars, but have never owned any.
