This '63 Rambler's on Ebay right now with a $795 buy it now. It's in Gatlinburg, TN. Not mine, but it seems to be what you're looking for...

Not HAMB, but a nice Austin-Healey would fit the bill...otherwise, the Corvair is underrated, great car. I've always had an affinity for the Tempests and Chevy II as well...

  3. Dart. I would get the 68-69 first choice, then the earlier ones. Avoid the 67 unless you are planning on changing the K-member. They have the a one year only idler arm that wears out constantly and is very expensive.

Early Falcon, Rambler American, both are cheap and can be made really cool for not much dough.

  7. I wasn't sure how long they built the convertible, a buddy of mine has a 63 SS conv, and it is very pretty. It has a 350, 4 speed and he said it was an easy swap.

1961 Amphicar. A little pricey, but restored you can take 4 people and have fun on the roads or in the river. :D

I like the early Falcons, Chevy IIs and mid-80s Cavaliers. They look cool as converts.

Early Falcons are great easy on gas and parts are avilable 6 or 8.
Also Crosley with a late model 4 banger.

I'd choose a Falcon or Lark.

I had lots of fun with my 67 RS/SS Camaro, I should have never sold it.
