I agree, this is one car that I would not change a thing about. Especially since the new owner pot a blower on the small block

After a lot of careful consideration, I had come to the same conclusion...but I couldn't find a photo to post. Thanks. Hot rods just don't get any badder than this car.

  10. Just about anything as long as it's a 40 Ford. :) I had a head on shot of this 40 coming straight at you but lost it in a computor crash a couple of years ago.

I think I need to chime in here.....my fav has to be this one. I think it belongs to Keith Tardel (not really sure), but if I could have just one hot rod, this would be it. Cheers

Yep! Green Grenade. Good times assocaited with that car. Nothing like driving it down the Las Vegas strip pulling into the Bellagio and having it puke coolant all over the enterance, then watching and the Mercedes and Bently drivers grimace. Classic!

There are some cool cars in this thread...

    I don't know if I could pick a favorite...
when I was younger yeah... the american graffittii car RULED...

the stray cats album ruled too... I always wanted to lay out flames like on that buick...

I seem to have a fetish for 60's show cars... kinda like chicks with pigtails that are pushing 30...

a lot of craziness like the Emperor... and others built in that era...

    I think today...
one of my favorite hot rods on the road today is Bleeds Green Roadster.

its evolution is what makes it so cool... that and the fact that its still being driven today. Some of the early photos rule...

I can look at cars like Roberts 34 a few pages back and say wow... that car is PERFECT... it is...
but perfect has nothing to do with being my favorite...

to be my favorite you need a mix of things...
like when I went to the DQ...
    I ordered a Mr. Misty...
I ordered it SUICIDE, all the shit mixed up...
why? have you ever done it? because its the BEST...
it doesnt make sense to everyone...
    but it did to me.

thats kinda how bobs car is summed up for me... it has nothing to do with the fact that we're friends. That car just plain RULES and its a HUGE influence in the build of my own roadster.

Every car noted here is too cool. However, hands down, my favorite of all time is the Tom Branch, yellow 29 roadster. I love it in its current form, less the belly pan and track nose. I know this is probably not the most popular car on earth but it just has the look and sits just right. A lot of the details on my roadster are direct decendents of this car, especially the suspension and chassis stuff. Contrary to popular belief and against the grain I still love Chevy small blocks of the early sixties, the more carbs the better. I'm sure he drools on this thing every time he opens the garage door. I know I would.

  26. I am super gay for this car.
