This pic was sent to me from HacksawBill on here in his '49 while out for a weekend run through the leaves. This is what it's all about just the purr of the pipes and a great drive. I;m sure others on here do the same. Post some pics of Fall road time for us at the moment "hot rod devoid" to enjoy!
I made a hint last night to some one that owes me favors and has said let me know when you need help. I made comment about some concrete test samples (28#) I have to move, all I got was a grunt. That got him on the list. Maybe I should go for a ride instead.
Go for your rides and have fun, but don't forget about those people who took a three hour tour, a three hour tour...
Yeah, there's something awesome about kicking up a trail of fallen leaves when you're ripping down the road. Fall is one of my favorite drive times. Other than all the deer around here...
Next year I'd love to organize a Fall reliability run through some very scenic Pa. spots. Any interest? There's probably a dozen cars or so from the shop here that would be on board.
A few of our club members are drive up to Cherokee, North Carolina to enjoy the fall Rod Run and take in all the sights, great time for a seeing the color changes and smelling the wood smoke from fires and smoking hams, we will stop along the way and buy some apples. Looking forward to this weekend. HRP
Me too, meet up with friends from the St. Louis area along with 5/6 cars coming down from my area. CU down there Phil.
Met a friend in Vancouver, WA last weekend. He drove 65 miles East, I drove 65 miles West. We had a couple beers and ate chicken wings in the shade after attending a nearby car show. Nice time of year for a drive. John
