What kind of rear is this?

What kind of rear is this? I know it's not a ford product, and for a while I thought it to be a Chrysler 8 3/4 but it does not seem to be. Maybe Olds/Pont/Buick/Chevy? I think it is a 5x5 pattern but that may have been changed, as it has been narrowed. It came to the shop in a 26 ford that someone tried to pro-street (ewww).

The rear housing sure looks like an Olds/Pontiac. They had the 5on 5 pattern.

Do you happen to know what years? Are olds and pont the same? I may use this for a project and I need to find brakes.

The backing plates seem to use a 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 bolt square pattern. The ends look sort of like new big ford... round with one flat side.
