What kind of truck is this??

This is a photo from Seattle 1962.

 

'41 Merc. Seattle would hint it's Canadian, but I don't know if that was a Canadian 'Merc' or a U.S. conversion...if so, right around WWll, for the gas ration stamps

 

That is a late 40's Hudson pickup.

That is definitely a 41 mercury.. looks like a 4 door converted into a pick-up

 

OK. Must be the car converted to pickup? It doesn't look like the 41 Merc pickups I found. It does look like the cars.

Hudson was the closest truck I could find to it. Looks a lot like the 46.

 

I've never seen a pickup with a flare at the bottom of the door. I'm certain it was born a car.

Yup, '41 Merc sedan cut to a pickup cab. Bed looks like '51-'52 Ford.

 

47 or earlier bed-fenders are to round for 48-52
