What kind of wheels are on this car, besides the obvious that they are wire.

Are they standard model a wire wheels or some kind of aftermarket brand?

They are Model A Ford , I'd be careful running them with that motor. I've got the same wheels on my '31 P/U that's waiting to get started on.

Probably Model A wheels or Buffalo Wires. Something late 20's early 30's if it were my guess.

They are 28-29 Ford stock Model A 21" wire wheels.

  6. I'll second that I've got both '28-'29 and '30-'31. Those are definitely '28-'29 21" and definitely not designed for that kind of weight, let alone H.P. Luke

  7. That car would be killer with an overhead 4 banger and '39 crash box! I hope he goes around corners very slowley.

BTW, they look like 21" 'ers to me too.

  8. Who's car is that anyway? Luke

Was in the pictures section on the lake headers site, not sure who it belongs to. Thought that tire setup looked pretty sweet but I'm going to be running a hemi and if those won't stand up to one, I better look into something else.

It's not the HP that I'm worried about, it's the TORQUE.

I can just see those wires sheering off at the center.
Why would someone put all that work into a car, just to go with stock wheels?
