what kinda wheels are on the front of this Willys and how hard are they to find?

    what kinda front wheels are these and how hard are they to find?they look like old funny car wheels

    They look like vintage American Racing spindle mount 5 spokes. Not terribly hard to find but pricey

    thanks guy whats the best way to change over an aftermarket front end,straight axle thats ford bolt pattern so my car can accept these style wheels?

    No bolt pattern they are spindle mounts

    if you need a pair , let me know i have some magnesium for anglia , i think willys is the same , let me know thinning the flock

    they are making a version of that wheel that is a 5 lug version....nowhere near cheap but similar effect to the spindle mount version.

    look to me like Hailibrand five spoke spindle mounts.

    I have a set and they say american on them.. they were allmost all anglia spindle and most were made from 68-72 in magnesium

    They are magnesium American spindle mounts that means no bolt circle. Just the spindle nut holds them on. No an Anglia spindle is not the same as a Willys. Problem with them is no provision for brakes. They were made in several spindle sizes, most common is Ford and Anglia. I have seen Chevrolet and heard of one Willys pair. A friend had a pair un machined so you could have made them for any spindle but he sold them. The new ones are aluminum not magnesium and take a different center cap.
     
  12. Contact Don Waldron of Rods West in Ridgecrest, he may still have that very pair for sale. I traded them to him many years ago. They were for Willys spindles and had the original caps.
