what kindo transmission is this ???

    This is a T-50 G-M 5 speed used in V-6 and V-8 '75-'80 Cutlass, Monza, Sunbird, etc.
    They will fit right in place of where a Muncie was used but the shifter is integeral and sits about 1" further back then a Muncie.
    They generally go pretty cheap cause they're not made to handle a lot of horse power.
    I've used em behind flatheads cause you don't need the more expensive T-5 there and 5th gear is overdrive so that was nice.
    I've bought em for $100 and up in good usable cond., but they only made em for those few years, so prolly not to easy to find anymore.

    thanks. Didn't know they had 5 spds in those year LeMans. Then when I saw it I thought it looked like a t5, but not really. anyway thanks for the info.
