Since the economy tanked, I quit buying mags. The wife took a $30K a year pay cut.

 

Street Rodder,RJ,Car Craft, Hot Rod,The Economist,National Geopgraphic,Archeaology,Smithsonian, Reader's Digest,Sports Illustrated,American Heritage,Vetrinary Forum, Veterinary Medicine,Compenium of Veterinary Medicine,Veterinary Economics and a firend gives me Motor Trend.
No wonder I don't get anythinbg done on my car!

 

Wish I could buy mags like that here.
i sometimes get Mini Magazine if there's a good article in there but otherwise nothing.


Do you guys think it's worth subscribing to a couple US mags? If so which ones?

TRJ, Rolls&Pleats, Dice, Rod&Custom(but its getting worse every month!!!!!) The only stuff I can read!
Used to get Street Rodder and Juxtapoz, Trasher and Low Rider, but they suck!
Best thing is, get on ebay or the swap meet and score some old little mags and learn how its done wright

There are tons of magazines these days. I go to Borders, Barnes and Noble and news stands before I go on vacations and find hot rod and custom magazines I've never heard of. I buy as many as I find and read them on the plane or while I wait for my wife to get ready, then subscribe to the ones I like. Some are all advertising or self promotion for their advertisers.
