I'm a magazine junkie. The two I can't do without anymore are Traditional Rod And Kulture, plus Rolls And Pleats. Great mags. I've also recently discovered Garage, which I really enjoy. Also buy Ol Skool Rodz more often than not, plus Car Kulture Deluxe. Just a personal thing, but I preferred the old CKD layout. Will also get Street Rod Builder, Rodders Digest, and Rod & Custom if there are a few articles that suit my interests, but US car mags are expensive here in NZ, so I have to be a bit fussy.

Can anyone suggest any others (car mags, that is!) I might enjoy?

    What do you folks read?

  2. I collect 60's Drag influenced magazines, so that's first. Then it's Rod Kulture Ill, Rolls & Pleats, Rodders Journal, Rod & Custom, and I'll catch flack for this but i don't care. Hemmings Muscle Machines. Being born in 55, do the math, and you'll probably see Muscle Cars had to make a HUGE impact on my life. As i was coming of age, they were the "shit"! As most of you know, my interests in cars is very diverse. From my AWB 51, my pearl orange 60 Pontiac, and everything in between i've posted here.

GARAGE,,,thats the only mag ive bought in a long time,.....

......i let my subscription to Rod & Custom run out(as well as Custom Rodder, but they pulled a "its not you,it's me" on me as it was running out,,,so i guess it was mutual...,,,) i used to buy The Rodders Journal,,too,,but its so much cheaper to read it from front to back at Barnes & Nobel while my wife is shopping,,,

...actually,,.,magazines ,for the most part pretty much suck,,,, but i really dig GARAGE !

..i cant count how many times i have seen "THEE" picture of the end of the track at BAKERSFIELD at the HHR showing the Choppers cars,,(nothing against the Choppers!!),,,but how many times are CKD and TRK going to show the same picture,,,..thats pretty much why i DONT buy any mags of the sort that cater to our "STYLE",,the are always the SAME car show pics with the SAME cars in the pics,,,,

  7. Rodders journal (now I can afford it again!)

Hot Rod (Killer 3 year subscription deal)

Hemmings Classic Car (Found that via Yorgatron on here)

I flick through most of the above mentioned by others too at the local Barnes & Noble, if something in it catches the eye, I'll buy it.

Garage Magazine and the Rodders Journal are the only ones I read without fail. I check out most of the others, but usually not every single issue

  12. I only subscribe to Rod & Custom. It was also the first car magazine I ever subscribed to originally back in 1968 or 1969. When I got back into cars, I once again subscribed to R & C.

Wheels Magasine - Swedish magasine http://www.wheelsmagazine.se

Gasoline Magazine - Swedish magasine with superb articles! Great quality with thick pages and really good color. Specializes on trad hotrods, customs and bikes. I think that we have an editor of this magasine here on Hamb. This magasine came out last year and havent given out so many mags yet. Here is a pic of the frontpages.

Unicorn Collector. Is that monthly or bi-monthly? Is Modern Dwarf full size or digest size? Jugs sounds interesting, as are any mags on any crockery. Oui? I think you spelt that wrong. It should read 'Out'. Its a gay magazine.................... er, apparently.
