Here are a few shots of my 56 best time on new engine first time out was 10.96@122 small block 5spd.please excuse the ugly rear wheels they were free. I run matching torque thrust on the street. Feel free to point out any none gasser infractions:)
    Thanks Scott
I will be at atco black friday to see if I can go a little quicker.

    .and just as pointless.

I can't believe this came back up either, but here's where I stand on my own car. I've posted this pic here lately on another thread. Pointless? Maybe not at least for me, but your welcome to your own opinion.

I found this one , I likes the 5 spokes on the front and the chrome steelies on the back. At least for now thats what I'm staying with. I have an extra set of bumper ends, I may build a front end set up with bumper ends with a tank in the middle, who knows.

Being an "old guy" I remember how cars were classed by the modifications that were done at the local tracks. It went Stock,Super Stock,Modified Production, and then Gas. with the double A's and B's ect. denoting blown.
As a side note the lower gas classes were mostly street cars with to many modifications to fit into the other classes and Gas was just kind of a catch all class for cars that didn't fit anywhere else. A strait axel and pie cut slicks were not required. Most ran shackles in the rear to let tires clear, and spring spacers in the front to get the nose up
