Well it was optional equipment on the '67 Studebakers, so I'm still keeping it in the family.
Now I just need to find a factory fuel injection unit for it. Also, looking for the rear wheel
    disc brake set-up.

The car is a 1933 Chrysler Imperial. The engine is a 392 Hemi.

  18. That is from lack of education, everyone knows that they came factory original with Cad 331s in them. :D

4 suicide doors is real different, I like a car with suicide doors now that I am older that are easier to get in and out of.

When we set out to build this one I really wanted to be different in many ways.

270- GMC six with 5 carbs

    Essex grille with folding louvres

    Foot start

    Packard headlights

    Bucket seats

    Full bellypan

    Essex gauges

I feel its how I sit in mine. I sit below the actual car so that it gives more of a 32 feel even though its a little model T.

I think Hot Rods and Rodders are like conductor and symphony--That conductor take different instruments and combinds them to make harmony and beautiful music. So also--the Rodder with parts from other cars and communations to make a beautiful creations. Its ashame these day your starting to see some rodders starting to slip back to the purest ideas that all cars should be put in a box and look a certain way.-- "We need to have an open mind" --- let the different Conductor do ther creating and make there own music.

    • Mine are all right hand drive :D:D
    • theres not a 32 Ford amongst them.
    • that there are a couple of Fiat Topolinos in the fleet, and Im 6ft1 and 240 lbs and I can fit into the finished one
    • that three of the cars have superchargers
    • that the 48 chev truck is my nearly daily driver
    • that the T bucket does less than 3mpg (street legal but not a daily driver)
    • that the T bucket went 141 thru the traps recently
    • that the finished cars are all purple:eek:

  29. Technically you are right, however.............. "What makes your hot rod stand out from the usual flock of sheep?" That's the flavor of the original question, but you knew that!.:D

  30. Mine is unique because I am building it.
Not another like it in NZ and possibly worldwide.
Well not with the combinations I have used anyway.
But that's the nature of almost every custom car isn't it.
