If it is going to be your daily driver I'd go with a 351 Windsor and an AOD tranny. About some 373 gears, late model Mustang seats, air, tilt, and cruise. My Son has a 5.0 with AOD and 373's that runs strong, rides good, and gets around 20 MPG.
there is no substitution for cubic inches build it big bild it strong and only use half the peadl and it will go for ever
I gotta go with Fat Hack on this one...351C with 2 barrel heads and aftermarket 4 barrel manifold with a top loader. Winds like a 301 chevy with more torque...exhaust sound is unbelieveable. Or put a...........nah, nevermind.
