Technical What oil should I use

    Back when it was still Brad Penn they had a "Break-in" specific oil, I still have a couple of quarts around here. Don't know if the Break In is still available after they changed hands and became Penn Grade 1

    Any of today's oil greatly surp***es anything made in '51. I lit my SBC off with VR1 on the recommendation of the engine builder. I'm currently using a 20W-50 Kendall oil in it from a local speed shop, $5.99 a quart.

    I use the thickest I can get at wallyworld . I believe they don't own a refinery yet! and buy from a major and rebadge?
