Saw this in traffic this afternoon. Caught it at the light. 62? I asked. Yup. W engine? 427. Big block? He said yes, thumbs up and off at the green light.
Hope those are the "who cares" roller wheels. Not my favorite Weld wheel. Rodlites caught my eye and wallet once, though.

There's another commercial with a debadged blue Roadrunner, guy and a kid putting radiator hoses in it. I'm pretty sure there's no engine in the car! Who even knows what they're selling. Probably a laxative.

Every time I see that I say "get your danged tool bag off the fender". Also what's up with that fill adapter thing spliced in the hose they show being tightened?

The front end does look like it's sitting too high to have an engine but with torsion bars you never know.

Went to check on an enclosed trailer we are having built by Performax Trailers in Texas who happens to be the Blue Max racing guy as well. I’ve been there before, but this time I asked him about the funny cars. He showed me around and gave me some history. Anyway, I only took one pic when I was actually leaving, but this was one of the early bodies in his garage.

Saw this in Midway, KY. Beautiful car, '75 with 48K original miles. Really nice couple driving it. Screenshot_20241027_191054_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20241027_191058_Gallery.jpg

Visited a place where a couple friends work this evening. Insane car collection and I didn’t take too many pictures but these have been on the very top of my list since I first saw one. The sliding door windows make this one of 95 optioned as such.

    Hello,

A friend told me he saw a cool yellow station wagon in a parking lot near some industrial buildings. So, I wander over on the way to run some errands. I thought of the corporate offices of the famous sandal company that was in a huge industrial complex and so, an employee would still have that So Cal surf/beach family wagon thing going on even to this day. The parking lot was packed with all sorts of daily drivers and in the far reaches, a pale yellow Chrysler Corporation station wagon sat in the shade of a tall set of trees.

Since it was still a work day, the lot was empty of people, but I did not want to be suspicious, other than drive through the lot. Upon close inspection with a telephoto lens, I could make out the Chrysler lettering and symbol on the rear door.

The classy station wagon was in mint condition and looked like it just came off of the showroom floor.

But one noticeable thing stood out.

Besides the full rear A/C built into the interior roof, there is an old hazardous warning sign on the window… So, were those old Chrysler station wagons radioactive or is it because they live so close to the San Onofre “nuke” plant? YRMV

There is a piece of trim missing from this SS that is not reproduced. It goes from the front wheel opening to the front bumper on the lower fender . I had the last set ( lt and rt ) from a local dealer . Sold them many many years ago

We love Midway, often ride around the area, beautiful horse farms to drive by on the way there from the Lexington/Nicholsville area. Some nice little restaurants and shops too.
