I saw a Toyota Prius Forum for women before about batteries that said:

I used my personal supply from my purse to get home and didn't have enough battery left to get me happy that night - damn car !

  8. The best and worst thing about any forum is that they focus on such a small aspect of the car hobby.

The best part is that they are a great place for like minded folk to talk and share ideas about a common interest.

The worst part is that there are people who hang out on these forums that think that their way is the best/only/correct/most highly looked upon way of thinking.

Soon as you get past those people, there's a lot to learn and share.

    Sam.

Chevy HHR forum- "man....I trashed a PT Cruiser getting on the freeway"

PT Cruiser Forum- "I let a Chevy HHR go by me on an onramp...I
    wasn't even on the gas"

The Corvette/Camaro forums get really silly....all they talk about is RWHP and "mods".

ok ok... i got a kick outta almost everything on that list

.. but the caddy one just doesn't cut it.

Go scope out the caddy forums, there are two big ones that I know of. First being the cadillac lasalle club... rather dull, mostly old folks, and dont' even think of talkin to em unless you're "keeping it stock" down to the stickers in the engine bay. Most of these folks fit the "sunday driver" category, if even that often.

Secondly being more my style.. the "Modified Cadillac Forum". most of these folks are lurkers on the HAMB, or OSR. They drive their cadillacs, modify em, soup em up, swap engines, swap seats, basically have fun with em.

But nobody who owns a caddy should ever have trouble parallel parking it. Trust me... fins make it easy. You know exactly where the rear end is, just turn around and look. And with front turn signal markers, you got one foot in front of each one, and about 8 inches on either side. You memorize that, and parkin is a breeze. Now the 8 turns lock to lock... that's another story. But you get a nice workout.

    Peace
    Chris
