I guess I'm a sicko, 'cause I like wiring and often volunteer for it! Complete engine harness burnt? Let me at it!:p

I like doing brake lines, too. But only on older, interesting stuff. I like getting them bent up nice and pretty. Did the girlfriends Honda POS last year, what a nightmare to work on, all the lines in a 7ft long tray with the fuel lines clipped in so tight, they bust when you go for the brake lines.:(

Finishing! I always seem to get another project before I finish the last one. I think I'm up to 5 now...(but only if you don't count the one I drive that I have to work on every week or so to keep running. ;))

But specifically, I hate wiring. And after getting hung up on one part after another on my latest engine build, I'm not digging the actual engine building lately either. Deciding what I wanted was pretty easy, actually putting it all together in the same engine hasn't been going so smoothly.

I LIKE doing body work. :D

Maybe one of you guys that hates doing bodywork can set up my valvetrain geometry and order some custom pushrods?

Painting. If it has pistons, gears or wiring I'm good to go, but painting kicks my ass big time! I'm only marginal with a frikken rattle can! My hat is off to y'all who can do a custom paint job.

Yeah HenryJ dude,i agree on the 1st and 3rd, i hate to gring mig welds! but just cause it takes time, its not a job i really hate.
People saying i should be done aòready, thats pure annoying!
I also like wiring and plumbing, i think i enjoy every process in diffrent range. sanding not so much.
What i dont like is when the car is on stands and cant be driven, that is hard!

Fifty, i do stuff 3 times sometimes, the day that i'll do everything right the 1st time i'll be god :D!
    Well, sometimes i do it......

As much as I've tried through the years I'm just not good at it so I do as little of it as possible.

I have a real problem with that also. Damn finger prints in lots of my stuff, happens no matter how much I think I can pull it off by "being careful"...

Stopping what I'm doing long enough to clean the bench and work area. but when I find myself spending more time looking for tools than using them, it's time to clean house.
That and sanding..... I really hate sanding.

    Reassembly- after paint.
I've built alot of cars & the phase I hate the most is reassembly.
No matter how much you wrap- cover- tape off, something's going to get chipped.

    Money + Bodywork.

Just about when the car is done you start to like other cars.

  29. Picking the color. It once took me a year to pick a color. Then after the front clip and firewall was painted, I took it apart to paint it another color. And then there are the cars like my '53, I knew wat color it was going to be 20 years before I bought it.
