History What pistons are these from

    I picked up a good amount of 58-60 Ford parts at an auction here recently. But there was a mix of other stuff also. Mostly ford.

    One of the boxes had 6 pistons shown below as well as rods, bearings, lifters, valves, and valve springs for a 6 cylinder.
    So I know Ford(and others) had 4 rings for a while, Hudson did something real similar to whats below with 2 on top and 1 on bottom like whats below. But those have a chamfer below the 2nd ring.

    Anyone know what these are from?


    2 rings on the top and one oil ring on the bottom.
    Flattop.

    Looking at those bits it looks like it’s a skirted block and you say it’s a six. I can’t think of one and google doesn’t help either.

    I think the pistons are for 41-52 Pontiac 6's

    Nice that the tape measure was stored with the parts, matching patina is uncommon.
