once upon a time i had quite a few projects just waiting... was up to 8 cars and roughly 20 motorcycle projects. had tons of free time and would rotate through a few projects at a time. then i got divorced, sold off everything and moved to a shitty apartment on the beach.

fast forward to present. married, 5 kids, 100 year old house in the midst of restoration, wife has a business, i'm self employed... not exactly flush with free time. or extra money. or space. projects started piling up... reality set in and i purged.

for projects right now i've got:
    - '31 Ford coupe
    - a 60s Harley XLH
    - a vintage dirtbike or two
    - what may eventually be an RPU or modified (Murray 4 door cowl/doors).

everything other than the coupe is tucked away for the future.

  2. I am in the fifth year of a project I held onto for over 50 year. It was my first car and it will be done in a year. Next up is a '29 Ford coupe I got about five years ago. I have most everything I need for it, but a set of deuce rails.

Nothing major here. After a decade long build it is time for a small break. Just a few upgrades on the coupe to enhance the summer drives just around the corner.

This is the year I get my Corvette back on the road. It is the last thing my dad gave me before he died. We are planning on taking it to the hot rod reunion in Bowling Green this year.

I have my grandpa's 1950 F-1 waiting on me. Been parked since 78. I will also one day have a 30 Model A Fordor that came from his brother, it was a parts car for his 31 Model A Tudor that my parents now have. When it was parked in the 50s it was just an old junker but it's too solid not to build. That's after I get my OT 84 GT back on the road.

Well I have this Aluminum Olds 215 that I found after building my T with a chevy ll. But I think a 28 a on deuce rails would be different. Then something wierd like a Morris Minor with the 215 would be fun... Oh welll olds f 85 1.JPG 197.JPG 197.JPG

  10. Well I don't have anything that anyone would consider cool.

I got a 4XD Willys pickup that if it doesn't change owners I am going to 2 wheel and call it a gasser. :D And a shovel head that I currently use for daily transportation.

I hate to admit it but the last couple of years I have had to sell off everything pretty much.

  11. I have a 1928 Hudson Super Six that will become a Boat tail Speedster. Its in pieces, and I'm collecting stuff for it. Just brought a 39 Terraplane hood to use for Boat tail section, and I have a 28 Cadillac body, that we thought was a 29 Packard.
Then there's the 35 Chevy Standard, its been hacked from a beat up four door, down to a Roadster Pickup phantom type deal
Im supposed to be going hard out on now, but there's not much getting done, due to having to much going on this year.
I'm in no hurry, I've got a fun ride in my 29 Hudson daily driver to keep me amused.

No pictures, it would take a day to dig it out. I have a solid 61 model 283 engine needing rebuilt, and just screaming for the 3 deuce setup on the shelf above it.

Currently working on a 34 5 window, then a 40 convertible, followed by either the 29 roadster or 69 camaro, I gave the 27 roadster to the little bro to work on.

Here is what is waiting in line at my shop. It is a 39 Ford Sedan Convertible. I hope to get back to it next fall. It needs a lot of sheet metal work but the chassis is ready to go. 39 Tub Project 017R.jpg IMG_0885R.JPG 39 Tub Project 013R.jpg

  26. I have about 8 waiting in the wings besides what I am working on now. From a 35 Dodge pickup to a 65 Corvette, 64 Impala,57 Ford, 28RPU and some newer than 64. But to me, they have become more overwhelming than a blessing. I am probably going to get rid of all but a couple of them, I am getting too long in the tooth to finish them.

    2 more 1925 Chev roadsters
    1941 Ford ute

  30. My next will be based on this 1930 A roadster cowl, a rare RHD one in solid condition. Already collecting parts for it.
Repo 32 chassis, original A front and rear cross-members, repo doors and fibreglass rear panels for this one.
Will be a V8, most likely a 283 with period looking carb setup and generator, would love a Olds Rocket or Buick Nailhead but they are hens teeth here in Aussieland. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423471051.244432.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423471083.638364.jpg
