I am about to modify my 34's rear crossmember with a model A center section. What spring do I need to use with the 40 rear end? Model A or Model T rear spring?

    Thanks,
    Rich

  2. model A is taller than a T, id be shooting for the T spring myself.

I'm using a Model A spring and cross member with the '40 axle/Halibrand in my '32.

A will fit the A crossmember better. You can finagle how high the crossmember is to get your ride height.

Use the spring made for the crossmember. I'd use the Model A myself.
