I'm about to split my (I think they are '40) 'bones, and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on what size bungs to use. Speedway sell 'em in 3/4", 5/8" and 11/16". I'm ***uming 11/16, but I want to be sure. Is the O.D. on these generally the same O.D. as the cut wishbone end if you cut it right at the weld where it attaches to the yoke?

If cut at the weld they are a very nice fit. Just bevel the end of the bone and weld'em in.

In most cases the 3/4" are for the rear to accept a larger rod end. I used 5/8" on the fronts and used the stainless rod end with the 7degree offset. Be sure to plan the attack as to arrive at your projects out come.
