I have a 15" wheel that is 10" wide. What size tire fits that would give me 29-30" diameter? Sent from my LG-H918 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Try this on for size. Hope it helps. Good one to have saved. https://www.tyresizecalculator.com/tyre-wheel-calculators/tyre-size-for-rim-size-width-calculator
Back in the day I ran 285 / 70 / 15 T/A's but now Coker is the one who makes them and they are 3 times the price . 265/70/15 light truck tires are close in height but an 8 to 8.5 rim is more than enough for width for them.
265/70r15 - 29.60" - 752.0mm - Ideal width for 10" rim 265/75r15 - 30.65" - 778.5mm - Ideal width for 10" rim 285/65r15 - 29.60" - 751.5mm - Maximum width for 10" rim 285/70r15 - 30.70" - 780.0mm - Maximum width for 10" rim 295/65r15 - 30.10" - 764.5mm - (this is a touch too wide for a 10" rim in my opinion)
I just did a pair of 10 inch American Rebel Sprints with 285/70/15 BFG's A tick over 30 inches tall. Got them from Summit.
Yeah you're right, a bit short for the OP's needs. Sorry, got caught up in an '80s flashback, tire scapin' air shock blowin' moment there.
