hey guys im new here but i have a 55 chevy pu 3100 i want to lower it but still be a year round driver i was thinkin a drop axel in front but im not sure what to do for the back. can anyone help. i also want this to be cheap and no big mods. i would like it to be bolt on so any ideas please tell me
very gently. flip the hangars and mount the diff on top of rear springs and c-notch the frame.you might also use some lighter duty springs.that's the cheap way. bag it,notch it,4 link is next.
thanks but i dont really want to do mess with the frame and i need it to be a year round driver its my first ride and hopefully have it for a while but sooner or later it become a show truck
reply tto spud yes drop blocks would work but that more for a s10 frame see my leaf springs ar on top of axel and not under it and im afraid if i do a axel flip its gona sit to low
common mistake my uncle has a 51 and had it on a s10 frame and i thought it was the stock frame so i was thinkin doin the same thing as him but didnt reolize the leafsprings location.
