What the heck? D&S? Pics. Anyone seen this before?

    here are some pictures i took of my intake. It says D&S but i havent got a clue. I had a post on here lastnight but no pics and got a little help but not much. Anyone, can you tell me about this? Other people have questioned this also i guess. Some say that you could get your own initials put on for an extra fee back in the day.

    With an arrow underneath the D&S? I had one and I've seen them in both Flathead Ford and 6-cyl. Chev. I have been told the S stood for Sharp who went on to produce his own equipment.

    I don't know what D&S stood for ,but I do know that they were making speed parts in the fifties for sure. My blown flatty intake is made from an old D&S two pot with the top milled off.
