I thought I would post this before April First. It accepts a radiator cap on both ends. What is it? It came with a bunch of mechanic`s tools. DSCF0170.JPG DSCF0172.JPG

It took 3 minutes. I imagine it will work for a Dodge. Since they go bad more often.

One end should be deeper than the other inside, to fit both short and long reach caps. If they don't seal, you can't test em.

Mine came with a thick washer to make up the difference if needed.

Pressure pump on one end, cap to be tested on the other.

As Moriarity and Fastcar1953 Showed it is part of every radiator pressure tester kit that is used to test the caps. That kit is very often used to test caps more than the radiators.

When you turn your clocks back, change your batteries in your smoke alarms and check your pressure in your radiator cap.

I have an old radiator pressure checker which has a bad rubber piston seal. Anybody know where to buy parts for these things? No name on it and it doesn't look as simple as just replacing the rubber seal.
    Thanks, -Bob

  18. I have a Stant brand pressure tester and it’s the the same on both ends too.
