Hey Chad- are those the highest-resolution pics you have? Or do you have the uncompressed originals available? I keep wanting to see details- like those tabs right where the axle housing is, on the driver's side of the middle open space. I can host 'em if you need space. Doc.
Well? Go back and get the story and more photos. I'm sure us fellers would all kick in for a some gas money if ya' need it. Right fellers? ...fellers?
I can't find any good pictures, but I think I saw it in The Empire Strikes Back 2. I was probably 8-years-old then, so I could be mistaken.
i think it was supposed to part of the package deal .. in the $1000 duece.... who would question that?
Still waiting for our pal Chaddilac to find out the true identity of this damn thing. Don't make me come down there!
Ok dumb question , Are the parts connected or is it stuff piled on top of each other/ ...maybe backwords.
So Chaddilac go to bed and leaves us all hanging, til some one who has his phone number WAKES HIM UP at 5 am to get his butt down to that house to ask the guy "What is that piece of crap on your lawn!
it does have a carnival vibe, maybe a carnival ride that someone tried to turn into a street car? and i really hope that dogs ok. oh my god..... that killed me!
he's had a month to find out... its a hour away heck thats alot of garage saling both ways .. and were still waiting dammit
The more important question is what can you build from it? It may have never ran, but you could make it better and faster than ever, just like we do with all of the other old steel lying around.
Not custom. Something more like one of these. http://www.myclassiccar.com/MCCTV/2006Season/11008/gallery.shtml Ask these guys. Email is at the top corner. http://www.3wheelers.com/enter.html
I was just wondering about this the other day. I guess no one has figured it out yet. Has Squirrel seen this yet, He has yet to be stumped! I think this has stumped the whole board. Chadilac needs to do his civic duties and go down there and get the low down!
Found IT !!!!! page 64 June 1961 issue of Rod & Custom (the little ones that fit inside you english book)...PLUS you get a "Captin Hawk " membership card & decoder ring.
I think it is one of those things like they pull the people movers around with at places like Disney World. If someone lived near there and could take apicture that would help. You know the things that hall people in, in the train like deals from the parking lot but are running on the pavement with rubber tires and several cars for sitting behind. Other than that there is only one other possiblilty "Oh I wish I was an OSCAR MAYER WIENER----" Naw it coudnt be.
Another vote for some kind of utility vehicle for an airport or something... ...I love it just because we can't figure out what the hell it is!! BWWWAAAHHAA!!! Just curious... did you knock on the door and ask? (was that already asked 4-pages ago?)
Anybody know about using a van steering box on a donor frame for a cabover? I am using a van steering box on my 1998 GMC 3/4 ton frame for my cabover because of the box being straight up and down. I mounted the box outside the frame on my 98 GMC frame and when I put the tire on and turned the box the tire hits the steering box. WHAT TO DO? I was thinking that I could move the center of the stock rim to the inside of the rim and this would give me more turning room and also going with a smaller size 16" tire. I have 245/75 R16 on it now and it looks like if they were about an inch less in diameter they should clear. I am open for suggestions from anybody that has "BEEN THERE".... THANKS, Pug Man
