Hey I'm related to Ethan Allen, well actually to his uncle Henry(I think that's his name) My dad was born and raised in Vermont near northern border. He was a rolling stone but most of my aunts and uncle's families still live in same area. Its too bad most people only think of Ethan Allen as a furniture store.

Since there are a few Joes around here in central NJ with kustom cars, guys in my club started calling me '57 Joe to differentiate. At first it was after my '57 Chevy Bel Air, but now for my '57 Ford. The FoMoPar is a combination of Mopar and FoMoCo, and my '57 Custom 300 now runs a 383 Mopar and a Torqueflight. Odd combo, but that's what i was going for.

  3. Krik! I don't have a HAMB name!

  4. Some dude in high school called me Jethro Bodine cause I wore overalls
to school and it just kinda morphed into Sethro. But everyone calls me Whitey now.

My friends started calling Hillbilly 'cause I used to work on my car wearing sandles. Changed to Hellbilly after I won a UFC style full contact tournament here in town. Buzzard from the name of my car club.

According to Marcy - my name is reflective of my love for Sonic Tater Tots. While I may not totally disagree, my name was actually bestowed on me by two of the Go-Go's(really long story).

  8. "katenjammer" means "hangover" in German. I used to read the comic strip every Sunday when I was a kid, but I didn't have a clue what it meant until I lived in Germany (13 years). It has several meanings, but "hangover" is one of the most popular.

since this hasn't faded away quite yet...i'm a big fan of metal flake, the bigger, the better, so what would be the biggest flake size? big enough for each 'flake' to be placed in the base coat by hand, maybe? THAT would be 'monsterflake'...

I've had nicknames every place I've worked/lived/hung out over the years. I'm also known as "Tiny", "Gut", "Bucket", "Soup Can", and "Bigchief" depending on when and where you know me from. Some folks don't even know my real name.

'Bigchief' has nothing to do with my heritage its just a name that one of my best friends started calling me years ago and it stuck.

For years rusty old cars were all I could afford. Now I can afford to drive better cars but can just barely afford to collect rusty old cars.

I am too young for all the things I am into. Music, cars, culture, values etc. My friends all tell me I should have been born in the 50's and I would fit right in. Born2late seemed to sum me up.

Years ago I started a club with some friends called Scrapers. We had the lowest static dropped cars around...as in my dumps under the fenders would lift when I put the toe of my shoe under it. Rolled like that 'til things started breaking..took 2 or 3 years. Anyway..club's gone, name isn't.
My close friends call me asshole but there's already an official one here so...

From my illegal-in-Finland Caddie Flattie -powered T-Tudor. Sounds good but won´t work with my ´53 or my A-Coupe. And somehow impossible to translate into my own language...

I've been thinking of changing my H.A.M.B. name. Maybe something with geezer in it? Or old fart? Maybe not. I got that awful pigpen name the hard way. :D
