i know there are some who may not care much for my name..I guess Its not right for this board, but..I have a 65 mustang fastback that I have been working on for 3 years. I also belong to a vintage mustang board..I just used the same name because its easier to remember one name for all boards....BTW..besides the mustang, I just got my Dads old 51 Ford shoebox..I dont have much to contribute to the board yet, but I sure am learning alot reading...getting some good ideas on what direction to take the 51..:D[IMG]

I bash, bend and beat old tin for a living--build Hot Rods and stuff that is--Plus I`m a KIWI and still proud of it--Besides--this series of `handles` goes back to the first time I came across the HAMB--must be 3 or 4 years now....

in case anyone cares, i got mine from a song by a little known band called green jelly (pronounced jello) called flight of the skajaquada. kinda fitting with my yearly bane also known as winter...aka no traction time:p the lyrics will spell it out...

When clouds of iron gather nigh, blackening the winter sky,
Storms gather fury from the lake, best hurry home and refuge take,
For soon the worst will come to pass, and ice will turn your routes to glass,
While in the north the beast awakens, from his year long slumber taken,
His howl the fury of the gales, with deadly curves that rarely fail,
To send your autos into flight, through blizzard's curtain blinding white,
See driving skills you lack with the, FLIGHT OF THE SKAJAQUADA

then comes the wicked guitar riffs running up and down the scale etc...
great band for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of hearing them. just pm me and i can get you some legally attained copies of the song/album:D

Pretty much self explanatory; my mother dropped me on my head several times when I was little, which also, others have told me, explains my obsessive behavior regarding hot rods and motorsickles:)

Used to have a 8ba Flathead but now I dont....cos I busted it!!!.. big time... even with 7 cracks in the block I still got home.... but Elmo is made up of first 2 letters of my name and surname... been called Elmo by my mates for years and "useless twat" by my mum for as many as I can remember... sold my 32 Roadster and got a 32 Pickup instead so I can chuck the Mrs in the back...cos you need someone in the back to stop the parts you buy at the shows from falling out...dont ya!!!!
