Steve is my real first name. My real middle name is Robert after my uncle Bob who's real first name is John. True story.

So I changed it to Ray. Not after Stevie Ray Vaughn; in fact I don't like his music much.

If I could do it again I'd call myself Rod Sizemore.

  3. Brutus is not me,,, or at least i dont think it is,,,

it is actually the name i gave my old 55 after getting it back from my ex, after a long and ugly divorce.

the car was so poorly stored and she applied a few dents for good measure,, the poor old car looked so damned bad... it looked like it had such brutal treatment..... so Brutus became its name,, and my screen name.

I hate muscle cars and think a 5 hp Briggs & Stratton is the largest engine they deserve. Chevelle was just a randon muscle car...............................Briggs

The "Katzenhammer Kids" were the first ever cartoon to be put in color. They were a German cartoon. Other than that I know nothing about them. Not a damn thing. Shit I am not really a cartoon freak anyways. I think I chose the name because I thought it was a Motorhead song.
Oh and I have nothing against cats. People ask me if I wanna bash cats with a hammer but that is not it at all..

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think it's the katzenjammer kids.

I'm the head of a religious cult.
    My disciples are called "moonies"
Ah shit, you guys are too young to remember! hehe

Back before primer was cool, I had a black primered 37 Chevy coupe, no interior, and moondiscs.
I'd go to big events, and those that didn't know would say shit like, "why is that here? it's not even painted! And look at those funny hub caps!"
Those that did know would say, "Fuckin eh! primer and moondiscs, I like it!"
So did I. God I miss that car!

My mom usta call me Doctor John when I was a kid because my hand writing was so bad...
Then I got "DrJ" pinned to my back at a party for a "whose nick name is pinned to your back" game and I didn't know who the hell it was even after I was told because I don't follow sports played only by people a meter taller than me, so I just assumed the title as mine.
Also I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture, they don't have a PHD in the field so I made my own!.

my last name is bradberry.....the "00" means nothing i use the same username for everything i sign up for and just "bradberry" is usually taken so i got used to putting the "00" at the end......boring but it gets the job done.

i usta sell a sheetmetal unfolding program called AutoPOL...

and i sold more than anyone else, so the boss changed my name in the internal email list to AutoCOL.

my real name is colin, but most of my friends call me "toff". which is a stupid name, which came about when i called my brother one night:

    "hello" he says.
"who's that?" asks the girl that would become my girlfriend.
    "it's col" he replies.
    "toff!? ... who's that!?"

it stuck. and on occasions becomes "toff-toff", and "uncle toff-toff"...

  16. Many newer guys answering this. I have typed this same reply several times over the last few years! My buddy Dave Buck, started calling me Tman in about 9th grade, first name Trent with a T. Has nothing to do with my T touring. Like Rocky, lots of folks call ma Tman, even my wife!!!!

Mine is pretty straigh forward when you know me. My initials are FAB (Frank A. Burrell), I've made my living FABricating car compnents for more years than I care to admit, I think '32 Fords are FABulous. The '32 part is because I'm harboring five of Henry's money pits at present count. I've never taken any awards for sanity.

  27. 26 years ago, before primer was considered to be a finish, every car or truck i owned had to have a coat of red primer.
AT a show at Stone Mountian,Ga.,,,,,,I was with some members of our club and was out lookin' at all the nice cars and came back to find a sign in front of my truck, with the "Best Paint Award" wrote in one of my friends? best Crayola script on the back of a cardbord box stating,,,,Paint by "HOTRODPRIMER".........we all had a big laugh,,,,,,,but the name stuck.......it ain't so bad! Pook is a nickname I picked up way back in '84. No one knows where it came from, it just happened one day. Any of the art work I do I started signing Custom by Pook. Then when I got into the kustoms scene I changed it to Kustom By Pook. Now I don't put any spaces in it anymore.

  29. its a real long story well half of it is. slaz is short for slazas thats my last name.the zen part comes from my nick name which is zen master. thats the long story.I was telling camp fire storys an I told this one about a freind and me we were reading Carlos Castenada and read about Jimson weed and how you could achieve a Zen state if you smoked it. so we were on a mission to get the jimson also known as loco weed we searched high and low but to no avail finally a freind went to china town to a herb shop and asked for jimson ahhhh yesss we have the JJJimmmson the man behind the counter said he got out the ladder and pulled down a jar placed the herb in purple tissue we were so excited we had found the jimson we saved it for the full moon and went to this old graveyard in placerville to smoke the jimson we fired a bowl nothing now in the Carlos Castinada book it said to be very careful that 3 bowls would put you in a coma well soon we were up to 3 bowls and nothing yet. We all looked at each other and said strait to the head and smoked the rest about 6 bowls I looked at my freinds and asked what if this shit is creeper???? well it turned out we were smoking ginsing everone laughed at the camp site and ever since I have been known as Zen so its slazzen on the computer
