  1. I have been instilled with a love of Oldsmobiles,(dad owned a few including a bitchen 71 cutlass). That and at work they call me J2, cause I was the second Jason in our department, and we work with missles, hence rocket, so put all three together...

  2. Latest project is a '55 DeSoto wagon. Most other boards I'm just plain old Skip

When I lived in Redding and cruised my '57 all over the place, some friends called my a 'hepcat'. Then I moved back to Humboldt County.
Sometimes I thought I shoulda used Pierce, which is really my gearhead alter ego. Whenever I'm working on the truck there's a grease-burned red cap from the company "Pierce" I wear. The family calls me it when I've been working on it. Fun topic, y'all.

IT should just be sledz. But I was having computer trouble when I went to register my name and Ryan had to help me. So since I tried to reserve the sledz name like 4 or 5 times in a row it showed reserved when Ryan went to help me. So KCsledz it is!

Sledz because I prefer early 50's cars going slow wnd low!

There were three"Jim's" in the department I worked in.
Jim Hatfield, Jim Williams, and Jim Covert
All our names were changed to first name and last initial, hence JIMC.
Been known that way for 35 yrs.
I, also, was caled "Scourge of the department" for aa while by a former supervisor.
When I signed on this board, it was as "jimc"
JimA asked me to change, and I complied. But it just did not feel right, so Back to "Jimc".
    No offense intended

I put a SBC in my '65 F100. Somebody already had the name I use on the RRT "Sean", so I had to come up with something else and thats the first thing that came to mind....

I have chopped every Model A I have owned, 3 sedans, a coupe and a roadster. Now that my last A sedan is gone and I have the 32 this may change.

'cause I am one Slick Mo Fo.
    you asked.........

BTW, one site I go to made me change my name. They said it was an offencive rap term. (I don't even like rap)
I told them Mo Fo stood for Motored Ford, but they didn't buy it. Changed it to Knucklebuster.

    Once upon a time
    I had a Honda CRX,
    Then it spontaneously busted.
    I tried to fix it,
    Then it spontaneously combusted.

Well my father s nick mane was Yogi before I was born and as I got older and joined him to all the swap meets and cars shows it was only natual to call "his side kick' booboo. After 30 years or so it just stuck. Not only is it my HAMB name but my daily nickname too.
