What thread sealer to use on carb studs?

    I've been researching this and am getting conflicting info.

    I'm trying to find out what sort of thread sealer to use on carburetor studs going into an aluminum intake manifold.

    Any advice helpful.

    Maybe I'm thinking about this too much but does the anti-seize have to have copper in it?

  6. The anti seize is to allow the bolt to be removed. Steel bolt aluminum manifold. Dissimilar metals cause the bolt to seize into the manifold. All you needs is plain old anti seize.
