This time I've gotta agree with the Hot Rod vote, but then again, what the hell do I know!!

What were you thinking for "mild custom" changes besides lowering the back?

It's your car so my opinion has as much value as dog*****, but i would hot rod it. 40's are not meant to be customs.

I know whats gonna happen. Youre gonna have it mild enough where you can change the personality in 20 minutes whenever you want. Itll go both ways till you end up trading up for some Jimmy Summers car or something!.....knowing you of course.

Hot Rod! Build a 1/1 of my 1/25th, please. I won't be able to in this lifetime.

Could be you love both 40's and customs. So keep your 40 and make it a "period piece hot rod" - not a custom. Once sold, it's gone! And also keep your eyes open for a custom, if feasible.

Your car looks like it's in really good condition. It's definitely a "Keeper". - IMO Standards look better than DeLuxe's-especially "in da weeds." Don't do anything rash as it looks like you could 'git er done" in a year or two.
