So I can't believe how well this thing runs. I've been cruising it up and down the end of our road to my brothers house (1/8 mile away) and even the transmission shifts nicely. Last night I went out to see if it it would start in 27 degree whether. I assumed it wouldn't start... But I was wrong! I'm really excited to start working on this car

Patients and persistence pays off. I drive a '60 and '61 Plymouth and a lot of guys turn there noses up at me. I have 3 wagons and always up for more. Good luck!!!

Drew, this is awesome that your fixing the old girl. When it comes to engines and such for your car, the lil V6 and 300 V8's are your best bet. For a 225 to be put in there, they obviously changed the tranny too. I have a 62 with a 300 V8 and a th300 (?). All it took was a LH 215 exhaust maniford, some floor surgery, and a modified tranny crossmember. I would think a 198 RH exhaust manifold wouldn't be to hard to find. If you change brands of engines, watch for oil pan issues with that steering linkage. A while ago there was a guy on EBAY selling front disc. brake conversions for these cars. Good luck, and enjoy.

Not much to update, I got some used tires so I could put the stock wheels back on it. So it looks better

looks like the clean up of the paint will do a lot to improve the appearance without much cost.

wow sorry its been forever and this will probably go unnoticed, but I have worked on it a little more. I lowered the car a little. I cut 2 coils off the front and 1 off the rear. looks way better. At least now the car is pointed downhill instead of squatting in the rear

I have also removed the purple tint on the window (which was a joy) but it least it came off in pieces unlike The rest of the tint which is coming off in tiny flakes so I gave up on it for now.

Well its been Since June since I posted anything.... So I doubt anyone cares anymore but I just thought I'd tell the rest of the Story. The little wagon is gone. I liked it but not as much as I like my newest endeavor....

SO... I traded my wagon for a 1954 COE, I've wanted one for a while and found this one for sale in Iowa, after talking to the guy he was interested in my Wagon so we made a deal and I delivered the wagon and drug this bad boy home. I'm pretty excited.
