Its a pretty slow week in a sleepy town. Weekends are usually more fun, good bands, laid back people. I'll send a you a PM with my phone number.

Meatball beat me to it, but the Pima Air Museum is awesome! If you're a Cold War nut like me, the ***an Missile Museum is also just down the road and well worth the trip... the "long tour" gets you into a decomissioned silo and all the underground control rooms.

Old Tucson is pretty cool. It's a movie lot that was built back in 1939 I think for a movie called ARIZONA. Lots of cool westerns have been filmed there and some TV westerns. Rio Bravo, Winchester '73, Cimarron, and Gunfight at the O.K. Corral are a few.

I am very new to Tucson but I know of a place that hasn't been said. If you like Tiki bars this is a good one. Kon Tiki is on Broadway but I don't remember the cross street. www.kontiki-tucson.com

Look up 'Franklin Foundation' in the phone book and call for hours and directions. It is a Franklin auto museum with the sweetest restored air-cooled cars. Free and air-conditioned, to boot.
Sonora Desert Museum has a hummingbird aviary- you can sit in there and get buzzed by tiny birds that will almost land in your hands.
Kitt Peak- the greatest place on earth to look out into space. Many state colleges have observatories to study the heavens...

Then there is Hot Rods by Dean...and Jeff's Customs....

  25. The Shelter and the Kon Tiki are places you must go. And if you go to the Kon Tiki... get the Scorpion drink. I can't remember the exact details :D but there is so much alcohol in the Scorpion that they suggest it for two people. That's the start of a good evening!

Another vote for the Pima Air Museum! If you need a Chinese food fix, Golden Dragon, Broadway and Pantano is close and real good.
