What to do when its -26 degrees outside

    56don, thanks for the imput. heck that one was put in by the PO and it was a wallyworld special. it barelly made it thru last winter. just hate to spend $$ that could go on the project in the garage.
    i noticed the same, 5yrs no matter who makes it.

    it gets colder than a witches ***y in my shop in the mornin, i just blast the music a start workin! I have one of them force heaters that run on diesel but that **** can cost $$$ !! so i just use good ol FRICTION!!

    It's why god invented ice racing. Buy a beater, stud up the tires and find a frozen lake. Good way to p*** a winter.

    Forget the diet Coke. It turns into benzene in your body.
    Drink coffee or beer. Look up benzene and you will likely start washing your parts in diet Coke rather than drink it.:eek::eek:
     
  8. i went to town and tried the duramax had a dead battrey, got the car moved to center of shop w floor jack and washed it up, droped a curtain on back of shop and did not heat 1/3 of shop got it pretty warm, did some work on trailer, it warmed up outside pretty good, going to install the drive on planks in the trailer tomorrow and load the car hopefully. start earlier and try to finish up most of it tomorrow

    I froze my nuts off putting injectors in my 98 chevy pickup will finish up tomorrow .It will only be 26 and the winds will be 2 Mph faster ,Right now I cant move ....

    Split your firewood! You won't work up a sweat and it gets rid of those internal frustrations!!:D

    Move to AZ in the winter and put the projects on hold, still 56* at 8 pm. shorts are the ideal wear here year around. also beer works all winter

    Tried to snuggle up to wife but she's colder than an iceburg, something about to many projects and me not ever listening or something. Wasn't really paying attention....:confused: Shop to cold, so good quality H.A.M.B. time!:D
