Well i bet i got you with my title! Anyway its actually almost one of the worst things to happen to me. I was at a guys wrecking yard, and i looked over and spotted a 1934 ford 3 window, fully fendered with the doors off. So I asked him what was up with it. he said "what that thing you can have it". So i said yes!!! At first my heart sank. Then i got up close and it was fiberglass. But took it anyway, well it was delivered via forklift.

Now im looking at it and its total crap. Some research and i found its the dreaded streetbeasts. For anyone that doesnt know, the company is scammers and no other parts will fit it, the fenders and running boards are part of the whole body. The company is out of business anyways.

So it looks complete and like someone never did anything with it. It does have a currie 9 inch which i am going to keep. Guess i could sell the mustang 2 front end. But what do i do with this body? Do they have any resale value at all? I thought of just putting it in my yard for the kids to play on and in, then throwing it away when it goes to shit or i move. Any other good ideas? Im not into fiberglass so im not gunna make a driving car or a boat out of it.

They weren't called Shit Beasts for nothing. Any self respecting dog would refuse to sleep in that POS.
If it were mine I'd power wash it, wax it real good and then burn it.

Paint it rust and set it out back in the bushes with a not for sale sign on it. Someone will have to have it.

    I got this!
You know those guys that tell how they found the worst rusted, beat up POS at the bottom of a ravine and drug it a 1/4 mile uphill to get it out.
You could do something reeely cruel and push it off a mountainside into a deep ravine then tell them about it and sit back with a six pack and enjoy the firedrill, priceless.
    That's all I got!

One of my biggest pet peeve is it seems everyone that has one of those POS calls it a 34 Ford. I always manage to ask them what part of a 34 Ford do they think they have?
If I had a free one myself I'd take off what could be used on a real car then paint up what's left, put it on top of my shop building as a sign. Maybe 20' in the air no one could tell what it was.

Cut the fenders and running boards off, put it on a t bucket chassis. Build it on the cheap.

Cut it in half, front to back. Then advertise it as a sign for a street rod shop. You have 2 to sell!

It would be good for a comp coupe at El Mirage or Bonneville, that way you don't cut up a real metal car

Let me know, I'll come and get it, the Comp coupe records are a little soft,,,,

I can get pictures tomorrow, but when you look in the wheelwell you can see the trunk tub, frame and shocks. It would look awefull with the fenders cut off. The doors are there but no provisions for mounting. The only thing missing i think is the grill. Which Ill have to make if its gunna be artistic. I just already got some hot rods and cant justify the time a race car would take.

So im really likeing the whole bait car aspect. Im not really a people person so i could see thowing it off a cliff or something.

Dog house is good. I got three big dogs. Girlfriend was thinking chicken coop.

Yard art is top of the list. But cutting it in half and selling one or both sides is a good back up.

My title should have been "Help me build yard art out of my 34 ford lookalike body"

  29. Another vote for yard art. I remember a few years ago when a friend bragged that he bought a '34 and how nice it was. You guessed it, a Street Beast POS in all it's glory! He got pissed and acted cold toward me when I told him what it REALLY was. He thought he had the same car as my Henry Ford steel '34.

Craigslist, make some money for your projects. Let somebody else deal with the issues while you spend their money. Advertise for more than it's (supposedly) worth and they will think they are getting a real deal when they low ball you. Turn it into a plus for you.
