Change out Iron Cross peep mirror and redo door interior. Add Hollywood license light. Unwrap headers and paint white. Add a straight headlight bar and white grille.
I agree, change the mirrors and paint the headers, headlight bar, and grille white. It would look at lot better that way.
I would just lose the trendy Iron Cross crap. I kind of like the headlight bar, it's different without being stupid looking. Not sure about the taillights though.

Can you chop the grille shell down so it lines up with the cowl? Then maybe a set of Chrome reverse wheels or even some early looking mags to brighten up the view a little. I like it !

LOL, the repaint issue. I remember a guy who paid alot of cash to build a tupperware 33 chevy 3 window. Once it didnt win any more tropies, he sold it. We knew the car by the color, you could see it anywhere. When you would mention it use to be so and sos car, the new owner said, its different, I changed the paint. Well Im not a color expert, but it look the same to me. Change the color but not to a similar green I am partial to black, lil more chromed items on the front. i.e. backing plates etc
