I have twin boys on the way (due in May), my wife and I are having a hard time coming up with names...it is tougher to do than it sounds. So far we have Jacob (Jake)...and I am trying to convince her Vince would be another good name.

Our 2 year old girl is named Genevieve...a classic name, and my Paternal Grandmas name.

Just remember... nothing is more ghetto than naming your kid after a car you can't afford.

    Porsche
    Mercedes
    Ferrari
    Lexus

Something we did was look at the social security website for popular baby names for 1920-1940. It was pretty interesting and we got lots of great names, but in the end my wife agreed with our boy name, Tucker Lewis. Tucker because of Preston Tucker and Lewis after my late uncle who was the family's mechanical genius. Big shoes to fill, but he makes me more proud every day.

Dont think a kid would appreciate being called stroker, especially once he hits puberty!! Might as well name him Stroker Rodney or Stroker Richard (Dick) if you go that far

Everytime anyone has to go take a dump they're going to say, "I gotta go drop a deuce"... you'll find that kid hanging in closet somewhere if you name him deuce. haha...

I have 9 letters in my first name...11 in my last. Keep it simple and classy NOT Walker Texas Ranger... ala Ricky Bobby.

And no homemeade names, either. No one wants to be saddled with a unique moniker their whole life... So Henri Fjord is out...

Several years ago I was at a fast food joint and the three girls working at the register and drive-up were sisters... Iwanna, Juwanna and Uwanna... I kid you not!!!!!

I think cretin names should grant a "get out of jail free" card for murdering your parents.

Do what I did - name him Cameron, and call him "Cam". I tried to sneak "Shaft" onto the birth certificate as his middle name, but got busted........

  19. How about Vroom?
Yeah my wife wouldn't go for it either. I did get a Jack though.

I know a couple that named their son Tarzan and if that wasnt bad enough, the middle name is Superfly. If it would have been a girl, it would have been Purple Rain.... If I hear of you naming you kid that, I will be forced to find you, and slap the hell outta both of you.:D

  21. My buddy named his son Holden.
His full name is Holden Wood
    I wish I could've made that up.

How about Morgan? Car related, classy and a common man's name 50-100 years ago but somewhat unique today.

    Morgan Andrew Northcott (M.A.N.) :)

    Al in TN

Name him Antoine, after Antoine Laumet de la Mothe,Sieur de Cadillac, who founded Detroit in 1701 and for whom the Cadillac automobile is named after. His nickname would be Tony so he wouldn't get much guff for it. Pronounced "An-twon"
